Michael C. Betros, CPA/PFS

Mike co-founded D’Arcangelo Financial Advisors, LLC in 1999 while he was a Tax Partner at D’Arcangelo & Co., CPAs.  He retired from public accounting in 2024 (most recently with Prager Metis CPAs) after more than four decades in the profession.  Mike is currently the Managing Partner of D’Arcangelo Financial Advisors and oversees all aspects of the business, including client management, investment strategy, and compliance. 

 

Mike is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Personal Financial Planning section and has attained his PFS (Personal Financial Specialist) designation.  As a Personal Financial Specialist, Mike helps individuals and families plan for their financial future, providing advice on a range of topics, including estate planning, retirement planning, insurance & investments.  As a CPA, Mike has extensive knowledge and expertise in tax planning, which is crucial for developing a comprehensive financial plan.

 

He is an Assistant Treasurer and a member of the Executive Committee of Astor Services for Children & Families, a board member of the Dutchess Tobacco Asset Securitization Corporation and a founding member of the Knights of Columbus Lagrange Council #13378. Mike is a past financial secretary for the Knights of Columbus, a past board member for the LaGrange Youth Baseball Board, Big Brothers /Big Sisters of Dutchess County and the Mental Health Association of Dutchess County. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Bonaventure University.
